Watch and listen for Aidan in the new motion picture "Becoming Jane"
After the success of the 2005 big-screen adaptation of Jane Austen's "Pride and Prejudice", Columbia Pictures and Miramax Films are expected to release "Becoming Jane" in Spring 2007.

As in "Pride and Prejudice", Aidan can be seen and heard as the fiddler/violinist for the dance scenes.

The film is based on the early life of author Jane Austen, who is portrayed by Anne Hathaway, and her possible flirtations with Thomas Langlois Lefroy. Dame Maggie Smith and Julie Walters will also star in this picture, produced by an Irish production company.

Although the film goes well beyond what is provable in assuming a real relationship between Austen and Lefroy, the speculative, original screenplay was inspired by real events.

At least seven adaptations have been made from Jane Austen novels in just twelve years, but "Becoming Jane" is the first film to address the author's own life.
